Galana NV was founded in 1990 by Lieven Baert and Grete Ragolle and originally focused on importing and exporting frozen fish and seafood from all over the world, under the Seaboy and Deliboy brands. Five years later, the production of luxury ice cream and sorbets started under the name Pagotini. Today, our customers can choose from a wide range of fifty different flavours. In 2015, the third pillar was launched : an industrial bakery that tempts its customers all over the world under the Beldessert brand with original lava cakes in a wide range of flavors and creamy muffins. They are freshly baked in our bakery in Waregem and immediately frozen to preserve optimal taste and freshness. The creativity and expertise of our chefs ensures that we continue to develop new products on a regular basis. Our extensive range is also available under private label. We are happy to help develop our own brand ideas and private labels, new recipes and packaging. The well-known Mademoiselle Desserts Group, European leader in frozen pastries for professionals, has taken over Galana's activities since the beginning of July. This will further broaden our offer to our customers. The fish department continues separately under Galana Seafood.
