Virunga Origins is a brand of food products (chocolate, coffee, chia seeds, vanilla, etc.) whose aim is to preserve the Virunga National Park through a new kind of industry. By creating a new economy around the Virunga National Park, and processing the raw materials harvested by the local community, Virunga Origins offers new alternatives to an entire community. Our products are produced on site, at the foot of the crops, by local talents, using only the green energy provided by our hydroelectric plant, which also supplies the entire region with electricity. 100% of our brand profits are donated to the Virunga National Park and local communities.
